 Happy New Year everyone!!

I went back to my hometown, Toyama.

I met old high school friends on December 31th. We went to the shopping mall, and ate lunch and played game at the game center. We played mario cart. It was so enjoyable. I felt like I was driving. Moreover, we played the game of fishing. The game was for children, so it was so easy for us. However, it was so interesting. 





I ate shabu-shabu of crab for dinner with my family on January 1st. It was so delicious. The crab was soft, and the taste was so nice. The next day, we ate sukiyaki for dinner. It was also delicious. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of these dishes because I wanted to eat them right away.


When the earthquake accur, I was watching TV with my family. After that, I run to under the desk. My house was shaking for minutes. I was scary because I haven't experienced the big earthquake and Toyama is a prefecture next to Ishikawa where was epicenter. The aftershocks are continuing now, so I want to be careful.

    The game looks very fun, but I don't go to game center very often. If I have a chance to go there, I would like to try it!

    Your dinner is so luxurious! Very nice! I heard on the news that Toyama was more shaken than Niigata. I'm glad you're safe.

[Unit Project 1] When to Change

  My artifact is shoes made by VANS. The color of these shoes are black, and they have two white lines. They are used when we go to somewhere and dance. The bottom is covered with white rubber, and a lot of "v" which are initial of VANS are written on the back side. The text has disappeared a little because they had been rubbed by ground. The toe part is round. They are a little white and dirty.   I belonged to the dance club when I was a high school student. All club member bought the same shoes for dancing because my seniors did so. We used these shoes every time for three years, for example when we practice and dance on the stage, so they wear a little dirty like they are covered by snow. One day, I decided to change my shoes to new white ones because they wear a little dirty and my friend changed her shoes. Christmas Market

 I went to Bandai on Wednesday with my friends because the christmas market was hold. I wanted to go there because I heard that some classmates went there and thought it looked exciting. There were big christmas tree. It was so beautiful. Many people took the pictures in front of the tree. In addition, there were a lot of markets, and many things were sold, for example meat, sweets, and general goods. We ate sausage and hot chocolate drink. The day was so cold, however I could be warm myself when I drank the hot drink. We also ate s'more pizza. It had chocolate, marshmallow, and cookie. It was so sweet and the texture was flaky and fluffy. It was so delicious. It became my favorite sweet. I want to eat chicken and cake for christmas because I eat them with my family every christmas. I always eat christmas dinner too much, so when I was young, I always had diarrhea. Be careful to eat too much!!

Winter Comes

 I went to Bandai with my fiend to eat triangular chocolate pie sold by McDonald. We ate it and hamburger with gratin croquets. They are always sold in winter, so I felt that winter comes. The chocolate pies have strawberry taste and chocolate taste. I chose chocolate taste. It was so delicious. The hamburger was also delicious and hot. They made me warmer. When we went to Bandai, we could see the Christmas lights. I saw them for the first time this year. They are so beautiful. I like to see them. They made me forget the cold of winter. We took a lot of pictures. Please tell me where I can see the Christmas lights in Niigata. I like winter because winter has wany events such as christmas and new year, and the scenery of snow and Christmas lights is beautiful.
